Most products that are sold legitimately come with warranties. A warranty is a form of guarantee offered by the seller in cases where sold products fail to function at no fault of the consumer. Usually, a product warranty is materialised in the form of repair or replacement of the product, as long as the case falls within the terms and conditions set by the seller.
There are two types of warranties offered for products in shopping centres. The standard warranty is usually a one- or two-year guarantee that covers defects arising even with the correct usage of the product. On the other hand, the extended warranty is usually offered at an additional fee for a stretched repair or replacement cover for the product. If you want your product to be covered upon expiration of its standard warranty, then opting for an extended warranty would be a good idea.
